The Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC), the Midwest’s leading environmental legal advocacy and eco-business innovation organization, seeks a Development Intern for its downtown Chicago headquarters.
The Development Intern assists the ELPC Development Team with tasks including but not limited to: prospect research, database input, preparation of items for grant proposals and reports, and event planning.
All Development internships are unpaid, unless the intern secures their own outside funding. We welcome university students seeking credit.

INTERNSHIP LEARNING GOALS
Applicants looking to work in a professional development capacity within the non-profit sector will be given top priority. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated passion for protecting the Midwest’s environment. (For science, policy, communications or legal internships, please refer to internship descriptions in those sectors.)
Fundraising / Development
-Education – Must have completed at least sophmore year at an accredited university or college.
-Experience – Must have experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Access and Excel.
